Creators of the anti-virus app Trustlook have published an interesting look at the state of the web more than two weeks on from the Heartbleed news breaking.
Their blog has designed and illustrated a number of key graphs and charts that detail the response of most sites. You’ll see that most have acted and patched their vulnerabilities. This is shown by tests done on the Alexa 1 Million website rankings.
The more worrying finding relates to Android. The researchers scanned 120,000 apps in the Google Play store and found that 8.7 percent were still vulnerable. This may seem like a small figure but it affects a staggering 150 million Android users.
